Spooky Manor - Fine Art Paper
I had a request from my Art Licensing company to attempt something around the Halloween theme. Growing up in America I had gone trick or treating several times as a child and of course had watched "Scooby Doo" cartoons and been fascinated by the scary challenges the gang found themselves in. I had even wanted to visit a "haunted magic castle" at the beach that entertained tourists as a young boy. When my Dad gave in to my begging we walked up to the door and we were greeted by several characters in their costumes. I remember grabbing my Dad's leg and leading us back to the car erring on the side of caution! I have tried to capture that youthful curiosity, innocence, and natural apprehension in us all. I hope you enjoy the many fun details in this "trick or treat" painting that reflects a more innocent time.
