Native American Woman Fishing - Original
As our country was being developed it was artists like Albert Bierstadt of the Hudson River Valley school of painting that painted romantic scenes of America that tantalized people to trust their sense of destiny and to go and find these awe inspiring places. As they did, the natives that had ruled over these wild spaces lives also changed. In this painting I tip my hat to Albert Bierstadt's painting style and paint in a beautiful but strong Native American maiden fishing with her bow and arrow as her canoe glides past a waterfall.
